AI + Payroll In Motion
Overview
Context
At Workday’s flagship event, Rising 2025, I partnered with the payroll team to design a storytelling experience that showed how AI simplifies payroll. I highlighted how new features save time, reduce errors, and help admins, managers, and compensation partners stay focused on what matters most. 🍿 Watch Day 1 Highlights

Design
I joined the animation team to learn Jitter and bring our Figma prototypes to life for Rising 2025. In one week, I learned/created motion sequences that clarified complex payroll workflows and highlighted the impact of our new AI features. Something static screens and recordings couldn’t do.
Approach
I collaborated with payroll SMEs and Rising speakers to create AI-driven storyboards and Jitter animations, ensuring the visuals aligned seamlessly with each presentation.

Animation #1
Animation 1 highlights a solution I spent the past year developing with our PMs to help front-line managers handle one-time payment requests. The goal was to give managers quick access to answers, smart suggestions, and automatic payroll entry creation, without relying on payroll admins to catch and correct issues later. With AI, the process is streamlined end-to-end: requests are created, routed, and communicated to the right people automatically, reducing manual back-and-forth, saving time, and improving pay accuracy.
